Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer – Cockpit ECUs (m/f/d) | Hybrid in Banglore, India
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Cockpit ECU systems including Instrument Cluster,
Infotainment Systems, and Head-Up Displays (HUD). The candidate will support cybersecurity engineering activities aligned with global
OEM standards and UNECE regulations
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Engineering:
- Perform TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) as per ISO/SAE 21434
- Implement cybersecurity requirements aligned with UNECE WP.29
- Develop and review security concepts for cockpit ECUs
- Define cybersecurity goals, claims, and work products
- Support CSMS compliance documentation
Technical Execution:
- Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, HSM integration
- Crypto stack integration (AES, RSA, ECC, TLS)
- Communication security: CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP
- Work with AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive, Linux, Android platforms
- Support penetration testing & vulnerability management
Collaboration:
- Work with OEM cybersecurity managers and Tier-1 suppliers
- Coordinate with software, system, and hardware teams
- Support cybersecurity audits and assessments
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in Automotive Embedded Systems
- 3+ years in Automotive Cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with Cockpit ECUs (Cluster / IVI / HUD)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 21434 and WP.29
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR, Linux, Android security modules
- Experience in Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)
- Good understanding of Linux/Android Automotive (for IVI)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with German OEM programs
- TÜV Cybersecurity certification
- Knowledge of ASPICE SWE.5/SWE.6
